June 12 school was finally out and the end of Dakota's middle school years was here. He had an 8th grade graduation/award ceremony and has now moved on to high school. It's hard to believe I will have a child in high school next year and two in preschool.
Anyway, I am proud of Dakota and all he accomplished these last 3 years. He is a leader and good friend to others. He doesn't always make the right decisions, but always takes responsibility for the wrong ones. I am so proud of the young man he is, and am always proud to be his momma. He is so funny and has a great laugh. He is also a awesome big brother. Can't wait to enjoy the next 4 years.
Colby also had a good school year. He was nominated and tested to be in the Explorer's Program next year. It is an advanced/honors program kids are selected to be a part of. We found out he was accepted into the program and will begin in the fall. Colby has been in accelerated math this year. He craves learning and is excited about this program. I am very proud of his hard work!
